Jean Paul Gaultier is leaving Fashion Week!
After 50 years in Haute Couture, The groundbreaking French designer, Jean Paul Gaultier held his last runway show at Theatre du Chatelet during spring-summer 2020 Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week.

He was the first designer to support and symbolize diversity, body positivity and trans visibility in runways. In the last half century JPG broke all the molds with his signature designs, such as the sexy Mariniere “French sailor stripes”, Men in skirts, Girls in suits and the Iconic conical bra corset that he designed for Madonna in her 1990 Blond Ambition World Tour.
The hour long show was a true celebration of JPG 50 years of creative and artistic work including all his signature designs, live performances and an uncountable number of celebrities on the catwalk as well as in the audience.
Le Genie Gaultier will continue to thrive as he announced focusing on new projects that he will unveil very soon!
